For a good time:
This past Saturday, even though there was no game at Kyle Field, there were still plenty of celebrations at the Dixie Chicken! We received a request from Stacy and Andrea a few weeks ago wondering if they could use our back porch for a small wedding. Andrea said that Stacy grew up in town and has always loved the Dixie Chicken and she wanted to make her future husband happy by having it at a place that meant so much. So, just after 3P on Saturday, September 1st, 2018, the happy couple tied the knot! After the “I do’s” the couple shared their first dance to Waylon Jennings “Good Hearted Woman”.
We are always so humbled when people choose to share special moments at the Dixie Chicken. Engagements, weddings, anniversaries, reunions, or just meet-ups before football games. To mean so much to people is something that we do not, and will never, take for granted. Thank you to all of the amazing people who continue to share your lives with us and make memories at the Dixie Chicken and best of luck to the newlyweds.
