15 years ago today, we lost one of the all-time great country music icons in Waylon Jennings. A couple of weeks ago, we talked about how the musical landscape might be much different today if Waylon had gotten on the plane with Buddy Holly on The Day The Music Died.
Waylon Jennings songs and the Dixie Chicken are just a match made in Heaven. For over 42 years, we couldn’t possibly count how many Waylon songs have been played, requested, and sang along to in our walls and on our porch. He was truly one of a kind that gave us great music for many, many years.
Relive some of Waylon’s greatest songs today and raise a beer to his memory today at the Chicken!
